  Overview

  The OPTIBAR 5060 eDP is a dual pressure transmitter version for electronic differential pressure measurement. It is particularly suitable for level, density and DP applications with closed vessels as well as density compensated level measurement in open tanks and tanks vented to atmospheric pressure. In some applications electronic differential pressure measurement can be an alternative to the use of classical differential pressure transmitters.The main advantage of an eDP transmitter is its cost-efficient connection to the vessel. Smaller process connections without capillaries with a maximum distance of up to 25?m / 75?ft between the top and the bottom tap save cost and installation time. The electronic DP measurement loses its edge over a classical DP measurement in applications at higher gas pressures for which the classical differential pressure transmitters?OPTIBAR?DP?7060?or?OPTIBAR?DP?3050?are most suitable.
